ArborCell within SuDS Tree Pits
ArborCell is a load-bearing modular unit designed to support water attenuation and distribution within SuDS tree pit systems such as ArborFlow.
Installed below ground, ArborCell creates a high void space structure that allows stormwater to be temporarily stored and managed beneath paved surfaces, while maintaining the structural performance required for urban environments.
It forms part of an integrated approach to combining tree planting and surface water management within a single piece of infrastructure.

SuDS tree pits need to capture and manage rainfall close to where it falls, while still supporting the paved surfaces above.
ArborCell provides sub-surface void space within the tree pit structure, allowing stormwater to be temporarily stored, distributed and released in a controlled way.
This helps reduce peak flows, improve water quality and support the performance of SuDS tree pits as part of a wider drainage strategy.

Introducing ArborFlow
ArborCell is used as a load-bearing attenuation module within larger tree pit and SuDS systems.
ArborCell is used within ArborFlow SuDS tree pit systems to provide load-bearing attenuation and controlled water distribution below ground.
Where larger soil volumes are required, ArborFlow can also be integrated with RootSpace to extend rooting space and stormwater storage beneath surrounding paved areas.
Together, ArborCell and RootSpace help ArborFlow combine tree growth, pavement support and sustainable drainage within one coordinated system.
